• I highly recommend GNE Construction for any home improvement project. Toyo listens carefully to understand your needs and then provides clear estimates of the costs and time required to complete the project. He always does what he says he is going to do. If he says he will show up at a certain time, he does. Never any surprises or disappointments. The work is done to your satisfaction, in a clean and professional manner, and within the cost and time allotted. I use GNE for any project I want to do, from concrete work, painting, carpentry, flooring and even light and plumbing. I recommend Toyo to all of my friends. Most recently I renocated our master bath. This was a major remodel that requiered demolition, moving walls, moving and construction a spa shower, construction a new closet and installing tiles and fixtures. I looked at many options and GNE provided the optional estimate which allowed us to get all of the upgrades we wanted. Some of the other estimates were much higher and were quoting us three weeks to complete. Toyo saved me money and finished the job in only one week! • I have worked with Toyo from GNE Constructions since 2012. He and his crew have worked on several projects for me. From laying down a wood floor for the entire first floor to remodeling an entire bathroom to painting an entire home and putting up crown molding. He has also repaired gutters and has done some masonry work. Toyo and crew always show up at the agreed upon time. If for some reason he was delayed he always gave me ample notice and gave me an approximate time of arrival. He stands by his quotes. If during the job he anticipates additional costs he will let you know. He is very fair with his quotes as well. He is very professional and personable. It's very easy working with him and the crew. There is no mess to clean up after the work is completed. The crew makes sure everything is cleaned up before they leave for the day. • In 2013 GNE Construction totally refurbished and updated a townhouse,e we owned and this year (2016), Toyo and his crew updated and did repair work on a new home we purchased. We cannot say enough about the work GnE Construction has done for us. They clearly take great pride in their work and are totally reliable, courteous and careful. Toyo' s background in cabinet making and masonry, both of which produced remarkable and beautiful additions to our town home. But his capabilities beyond these two things seem endless - from repairing and installing doors, to rebuilding the interior of entire rooms, laying floor tile and hardwood planks, installing a kitchen backsplash, re-tiling a bathroom, installing shelves, refurbishing and refinishing a deck, etc, etc. His prices are consistently fair and reasonable, so much so we stopped asking him for quotes on individual projects except on one or two where we thought the cost might exceed our budget. These came in considerably lower than we had anticipated, by the way. But most of all, the quality of everything he does is superb, everytime exceeding what we had envisaged.
